We are looking for a technically skilled and engaged individual seeking an exciting challenge. The role of property caretaker offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and classified government environment, where technology, security, and development are in focus. In this role, you will work with the operation and maintenance of properties, as well as handle incoming reports of issues. You will also be responsible for conducting inspections and checkpoints. To succeed in this role, you need to be structured and able to plan your workdays based on current priorities, in collaboration with the rest of the team. As a property caretaker, you are not just a repair person; you essentially ensure that the entire property operates smoothly. With your equipment as a property caretaker, you are equipped to handle all kinds of repair and maintenance tasks, from door environments, plumbing systems to electrical faults. An important part of the job involves following up and complying with the property owner's various regulatory responsibilities, such as systematic fire protection work. In this role, you will manage the property portfolio in Viskan, where the Swedish Prison and Probation Service is our tenant. You will belong to our organization in Östersund. 

In your daily work as a property caretaker, you will:

• Maintain ongoing contact and dialogue with tenants to listen to their needs.
• Handle maintenance measures and carry out certain repairs and inspections.
• Document your actions continuously in a digital format.
• Contribute to budgeting and pricing for the measures performed.
• Assist operational technicians in their work.

We place great importance on your personality and are looking for someone who is social, structured, communicative, and proactive. You are a handy practitioner with general knowledge of property management. You enjoy solving problems and have a flexible attitude since no two days are alike. To succeed in this role, we hope you meet the following:

• A high school diploma is required. Post-secondary education focused on property, operations, and maintenance or similar is an advantage.
• Technically skilled and interested.
• Some years of prior work experience, preferably from a similar industry.
• You have good digital skills.
• Driver's license B. 
• Swedish citizenship is required. Background checks and security classification may be conducted in connection with employment.

The position is full-time, 40 hours/week.
